My 2 front tires have flat spots....any ideas how they got there?

My 2 front tires have flat spots....any ideas how they got there?
I understand that flat spots usually come from locking up the brakes. There pretty new tires and i never noticed anything wrong with them until today. It was driving a little rough so i decided to inspect the tires and to my dismay the front 2 have severe flat spots. I dont remember even doing any hard braking lately, so i was just wandering if there could be a different cause?
Also i have road hazard on the tires, but i assume thats worthless since even if the tires did blow up now...they were already useless before they blew so they wouldn't pay towards my new tire.
