Default Jon, have the injectors flowed first(car will be down a few days). I have mine getting cleaned and

flowed now. I can send you some places to do this... costs ~$8-15 on avg per injector to test/rebuild vs ~$85 per to replace.

I'd look at EGTs or O2s still as a possibility. See if you can find a down car to borrow the EGTs off of(PITA to install I know). Same with O2s... if you need a set of O2s Zold_man makes these things now and they are much cheaper and pretty cool with disconnects/shielding and all.

I know the closer to zero the better, but I thought negative numbers were safer. I could be wrong

Default Hal, I pulled the injectors yesterday to FedEx to RC...

but obviously the stock injectors don't work at all in the application, and can't have the car down right now. If I could find a set of Siemens reds to borrow I'd be set.
Agreed, I just need to bite the bullet and rent a Neon for a week, or borrow my dad's bike, and get these injectors cleaned.

Default Well, the negative numbers would be richer, think as long as it is still in the

single digits on either side(and less than 6-7%points diff as Mike stated) you're likely ok.

Default Local group quote to a new audi owner:

"Well, you wanna know what my best mod has been to my audi? Getting another car" Betzold, 2004

Lol, but then again he's had some really bad luck in getting hit by Magoos and all...

Default Agree. Also, those are "part throttle" trims. The WOT trims are probably totally different..........

But who knows, VAG-COM does not measure them.

Default Sometimes I'm ready to get a used Outback and a '93 911 Turbo.

Then I have room for the baby seat and bass amps, and the project car where it should be.

A DIFFERENT FVCKING CAR.

Great idea, thanks. Don't have stock ECU, but could get one.
