I have friend that did a pre and post dyno with/without tubular manifolds. Only 8 whp difference and the biggest difference was trq curve was shifted down by about 500 rpms.
For $1800+ it is not a good bang for the buck mod. I agree for the money, VAST ceramic coated and ported oem manifolds cannot be beat.

sorry bud didn't mean to sound like a jackass. We had the same issue on one car and Mike from AWE told me that "his tech has never had any issues cause "they" clock the turbos right" yeah !
Have them pull the motor and repaired at their cost.
just fyi... We took the hit since we're an AWE dealer and to keep our customer happy.

we've seen both AWE and ASPs crack. Not worth spending money on manifold IMHO. We build many S4s and 99% are on stock manifolds.
