Default My best 1/4 mile time was 13.3 @ 102mph Friday night.

Boy, I still need to practice my launches. I found that doing a 3,500 slip/drop is the best launch yet. I'm not brave enough (YET!) to do a 4,000 - 4,500 rpm slip/drop. I think that with this higher rpm launch, I could easily get 13.1-13.2 out of her!

On the plus side, I didn't slip my clutch like last time so I'm learning something! ;p

I think my 60' time was 1.8 for this run too. Someone tell me what a good 60' time is for our cars.

nice run... 1.8 is very good for 60' time - the best e/t runs on this board were run w/t 1.8 60'

Default You're kidding?!

Well, it was 1.8?? not just a flat 1.8 60' time. I was thinking I had to improve more! ;p

Default well, eventhough e/t's are effected by the 60' times the best runs were achieved with 1.8X (and not

1.7X) 60' times. I don't quite know why, but the best published times were achieved w/t low 1.8X 60'

Default Thanks! :)

Now that I have the exhaust on I'm really stuck between shifting into 4th or staying in 3rd.

Twice I shifted "fast" into 4th and right when getting back on the gas, the car actually slowed down...WTF?!?! I'm a pretty good gear shifter too so I'm not sure what the deal was.

So I stayed in 3rd all the other times but the car really slows after 6,800rpm.

Default yup......especially when you hit th rev limiter before the line. :-p

Good job though. I knew you car was faster than 13.6. You're right though, running up about 6800 or so doesn't help other than keep you from possibly missing a shift. I really wish I knew what was up with my car. Oh well. I'm putting the 19s back on this week......Maybe it'll run better then. :-p

Default I think my hole shot is the only thing I need to work on.

Everything else is fine. With my stock exhaust, staying in 3rd was best.
