^^^ Keep it wet; if it's fresh enough you might be able to get it off easily.

suing is going overboard, i'd think any reasonable person would cover the cost of havng it removed

I told him calmly and he responded by saying, "sorry, the guys were messy".

I asked if it would come off, he said, "yes, it would with some water and a towel, let me do it for you"

I said, "no thanks, i'll try to get it off myself"

I googled it a bit and found some people say 1:1 water to white vinigar for 15-20 minutes would break it up.

I tried it and it came off reasonably easy. have to check whether it left a mark or not.

I was not going to let him try to rub it off with a towel! It's my baby and no one touches it except me! If there are still marks, I will ask him to pay for the paintjob.

Default Re: and if it just happened keep it wet so it does not dry ... it will come off with water only.

unfortunately i was away on vacation when it happened. it must have been a couple of days dry.
