My car is taking about 5 seconds extra to crank to start, any ideas?
It's not a nice clean on, it's taking it's time starting up. Too lazy to STFA this morning, thanks.

Next time, before you start it, sit there with the key on for 30-60 seconds...
...if, after that wait, it starts right up, it could be your fuel pressure regulator or a check valve. At least that's what the learned ones told me when mine was taking a second (although not 5 seconds) to start. I never did anything to fix it, but it seems better now.

same **** is happening to my S4...
it seems when i dont drive the car for a few days and then start it up, it takes an extra 5 seconds or so to crank and start up...
its wierd. if the car has been running every day, it starts fine usually. i want to know why its happening too.
i'll probably do a TBA today to see if that fixes the problem...
