dumped in oil .. anyway i agree with Jacob .. like many other smart folks i spoke to and said the same.. it's an unseen thing oil+coolant through the turbo.
eric drove that car all the way to the end with the turbo going souf' .. his might actually have used (not mixed in oil) coolant since the thing (ko3) was disintegrated.
possible - hell yeah (like anything else) - 2%
probable - i don't think so .

like i said ..been there, done that .
first thing to consider is the bars leak and ckeck under the oil cap and PCV (to Y pipe) regularly .. coolant in oil will appear evaporated/condensated there as chocolaty stuff.
- head gaskets fixed my problem
i changed the RMS before that and it did nothing , but i can't be 100% sure ..after doing the RMS myself , couple months later (car sat) head gaskets and rms (again) were done - problem solved.
i really lean toward the lifted heads, headgsket leak , someone else mentioned that here ..

I haven't done the Bars Leaks myself..so I don't know what the time frame is for retesting.
There are a a few different levels of leak stop products on the Bars Leaks site. Not sure which would work best but from what I know it has been successful in stopping at least one leak for the folks I was in contact with with the coolant consumption issue. YGM
