My first race...........
drive in I-95 going back to Boston.. A IS300 with neon light come behind me really fast... So I say WTF...I have 5 passangers in the car including me. Heavy car. I drop to 6-5 gear. wrong gear. not fast enough. Traffic ahead, we both slow down.
Then in the right timing, gear drop to 4th. DAMN..Car shoot up to about 90 mph. Is300 behind...cant pass me. Shift to 5th gear. Look down 120 mph, DAMN....IS300 still behind. beginning to lose him. Girlfriend, screaming stop it now. NO way....keep on going. 6th gear 140 now....
bye bye IS300....
But got so say, they are pretty fast, but fast enough.
My last car GTI VR6, race speed is about 70-100 mph. I guess have a S4 race speed is over 100 mph for sure. LOVE MY AVANT...
Now I have to buy flower to make up to my G/F.

at least people will race you...
My silver avant seems to be too stealth for anyone to even try to race me... well, except for guys in old accords with loud exhaust, but they likely try to race EVERYONE.

I have the same problem. nobody wants to race me either. two nights ago (m)
an 94 or 95 accord and new maxima kinda fooling around. I see them take off, so I'm like f*%^ this and I take off too. after passing both of them the maxima gets behind me then slows down. I didn't see any cops so I guess he didn't want to play.
then last night I saw a new wrx and a fixed up civic at it, it was funny, yet sad...my exits was coming right up

"I raced X japanese car and won! IMAGINE THAT!" LOL, just joshin ya...hehe. Anything with a coffee can exhaust and clear tail lights stock deserves a good beating.

seriously...if you want to race...
put some stickers in the windows...no s**t, you'll attract "racers" like flies with a few choice stickers.
That OR put something like a UUC or Neuspeed exhaust on...get that thing loud enough to be heard and every kid in a Mustang will go against you.
I had the same problem in my Silver sedan but Imola has no such problem provoking folks.
