my horn stopped beeping when I lock my car--should I be concerned?

just happened today. I have gotten out and locked the car and all three times it did not beep at me. any ideas? I have changed nothing and yesterday it was beeping at me when I locked it. (I actually like it better without the beep)

might be obvious, but have you checked all doors/trunk/hood? If one of them is opened, it won't beep

I guess I should have been concerned--the back hatch wasn't all the way closed

fortunately I've just been getting in and out-not driving around.

Now, how hard is it to change the car on purpose so it doesn't beep at me when I lock it. (without leaving a door open)
