Anyone want to rent/buy/timeshare it? Otherwise, my wife is going to make me sell it due to unforseen circumstances. I can bring it to the NorCal Mount Hamilton drive on Sunday if you are interested...

If you start acceleration g-Force with the unit sitting on a level table, then rotate it 90% so it is now face down, do you get a 1g reading? I do not, I get .92g, facing down, and .94g facing up.
My G-Tech properly shows 1g in a similar test.
Don't sound Kosher, to me! :-(

got 0-60's consistently in the 4.8-4.9 range on my AP-22 (without trying to destroy the car). Did you get my last e-mail?

I did the coast down and stuff but it was a PITA and turns out that it only really effects the HP readings. The MAIN setting you have to be concerned about is the "tilt factor". Since its an accelerometer, the "tilt factor" takes into account the movement of the body independent of the acceleration G (basically knocks off some of the reading to compensate). My understanding is the tilt factor should be .011 on the S4 but the only REAL way to be sure is to go to a drag strip and change the tilt factor until your 1/4 mile times match the dragslips.
If you change the tilt factor, you'll change your performance readings.
VERY nice unit...drive around with the lateral G set and it has a tell-tale to meausre max G attained...also works for acceleration G...FINALLY an accurate "butt" dyno hehehehe.
I used the Velcro to stick it to the cup holder...that's the most level place in the car!
