Default How can it be accurate if it does not indicate 1g when subjected to 1 g? Not critical, just trying

to understand it.

Default I'm sure they calibrated it so it READS 0 at 1G because...

if you even SLIGHTLY move it, you'll get small G incriments. It's like boost...it's ALWAYS assumed that you are pulling 1G.

Default Not what I mean. If it shows 0g when horiz, it should show 1g when vertical!

My G-Tech does.

Default dunno but...

the readings I got were making alot of sense when I was driving. Anywhere from .2-.99G (on a steeply banked turn). I beieve if you turn it too far out of it's 2 axis plane it simply gives a tilt error. If you rotate the unit 90 degrees clockwise, it's off its tolerance.

Not sure about this but based on my playing with it, it tells me VERY reasonable and believable stuff.

See how far you have to tilt it before it says "tilt error"

Default Mine shows 1.0g if I tip it backwards but only 0.87g tipped forwards...

Maybe something to do with the tilt setting? Seeing as the Gtech doesn't have that setting it would be different??

Default Tilt Settings and Roll Settings

If you set the tilt and roll to 0.0, then you should get 1G exactly.
