they definitely look better in silver but that looks kind of cool

Was told no painting/replacing. Tried to hit them up for a discount for the six pots but had no luck there either :/

Default I read this thread and the thought that comes to mind is,

what's the temperature rating of the coating they use? Clearly you've exceeded it. So what does it take to get the calipers that hot?

Think they said it was around 475 or 500 degrees. Not positive though

Default My OEM calipers went from black to a nice rust color after one event. :-)

Default I think it is WAY hotter than that...

I remember putting a pyrometer on my brakes right after a hot session...and I think it was more like 800 degrees...not positive though.

You should be fine with silver, unless you do some hardcore track time!

my black isn't black anymore. my hats cracked as well. putting new hats/rotors on soon.
