Default My power steering is on crack....

About two weeks ago I noticed my power steering would somtimes stop working at low speeds and when I was parked. What a PIA.... Ever try turning a 3500lb car WITHOUT power steering? Well, its getting worse... It will work fine around one corner, then cut out around the next. There are NO leaks or weird noises. I am taking the car in to the dealer next week, but do you guys have any ideas?

Default You pump could be dying...

altho I would have expected "weird noises" to accompany that...

So your fluid level is all hunky-dory and everything?

Weird.

Default The fluid container is the green one right?

If so, ya. I just checked it. Everything seems hunky-dory. No wierd noises at all. The power steering only seems to work when the clutch is engaged, and even them sometims it doesn't work.

Default Not when you drive in a couple feet of snow. :(

I probably did it driving in the last snow we got. I had to send the car sideways to get up my steep ***, snow/ice covered, driveway. KABOOM!
