Jim your such an Idiot you cant accept you have been ripped of, you gotta still keep buying the crap Audi have laid on you.
I was lied to by my Audi sales ppl, i can now accept that. i can accept that my 4wd system is inferior and i will adjust my driving style to compensate. No problems.

Again, not on the street. The S4 is a street car. Reread my post.

Again Alan, reread my post. The S4 is a street car unlike the UrQ. On the street, it feels like a street car, as it was designed to be. I've driven an EVO 6 once and it has it's place, but most if not near all S4 owners would not be happy with its "feel" on the street.

> The Evo VI doesn't have the S4's "road feel"?
> Are you mad?
No, The EVO does not have the feel that current S4 owners would expect nor appreciate in a street car. On the street, the S4 feels like a street car, as it was designed to be. Audi met is design goals for most if not all owners. The S4 is not an UrQ.
> I've OWNED both cars and the S4's "road feel" is ZERO.
Sure, when you compare it other street cars like a BMW.
> You have NO IDEA what is going on underneath you.
Sure I do, Alan.
> "The LSDs bind characteristics vary and are unpredictable."
>What?
Yes Alan, LSD's bind and they bind unpredictably and variably for most S4 owners, read non-race track drivers. I drove the EVO 6 once in Greece and felt the binding. Most current S4 owners would not appreciate this "feel" on the street. Again, everything I have said is in the context of a street car. Generally speaking, on the street, 2 or 3 open diffs feel better.
Alan, I have been building, fixing, and driving (with some minor racing) Audis since 1980. I've owned countless Quattros through the years including one UrQ. I've build Quattros and 325ix's with Torsens, Quaifes, VC, et al. If we were to talk about track cars or rally cars, the discussions would go differently.

Major, no. EDL is better in one situation. If a Torsen or quaife LSD does not have 1/3 or 1/4 of the traction on the slippery side as it does on the grippy side, it acts as an open diff. EDL has no load bias ratio limitations. This may be better in getting out of the typical day-to-day stuck-in-snow situations.

As limited as any other traction control system. It is better in one area though. It only has to deal with about 1/2 the torque as 2WD systems meaning that it should not activate as frequently.
> OK i now know where i stand.
I'm afraid you don't. You're a bitter young man ;-)
