My stock TIP S4 avant shouldn't be able to keep up with a 3000GT VR4 right?

This morning a Mitsi 3000GT VR4 started poking and proding at me to race and I ignored it for about 2 miles due to traffic... then a big opening showed up and I gave the nod but pointed to the speed limit sign. So at the next light we both punch it and I hit 60... and realize the VR4 is about two car lengths behind me. I can tell he's a stick too...
My stock avant TIP shouldn't be able to beat a VR4 right? I took him on two lights before he turned off, but he gave me the thumbs up.
My 0-60 can't be much better than 6.5 to 6.0 in a tip wagon... maybe my zaino finish dropped my drag coefficient :-)

i had one before my S4, and trust me at times it felt faster for sure than an S4 6 speed stock. maybe you played with an SL....
even though the VR-4 is heavy...it still runs quick.

If it was a stock early 90s VR4, I can see it happening. Some people have stock cars that don't run like they should.
