Default yep, the actual opening is the same size. The issue is, when you raise the track.......

vertically, you need to add an extra section of garage door. If you don't, the opener will pull the door off the track since the arm only goes back and forth - the top of the door has to be close enough to the bend in the rail that when the arm pulls, the door goes up.

I bought the shorter ones - I forget the actual length - there are only 2, these are the shorter one

Default thanks - the thing that took the longest was the lift. Apparently, the company was out of the ram..

part that goes under the runner. As you know, you need that part to make it work - I think it will be worth the wait though!

Default I had it done professionally as WindyCityS4 said below. I have a friend who has........

used this company before and was really happy with them.

The price was better than another company that quoted me.

($3000 vs. $5000, I went with the cheaper place)
