Is my wheel bearing shot?

Ever since I had my coilovers installed I've noticed a squeaking sound coming from what I think is the front driver's side wheel.
The noise is fairly constant in pitch when the car is moving but stops every time I brake.
Is this the sound of a busted wheel bearing?
The thing I can't figure out is how braking could stop the noise.

There are a couple of other possibilities...
1. Runout on your rotor exceeds an "acceptable" hence noticable amount. Runout is the rotors' ability to stay perfectly flat and round. When you press your brake pedal, the rotor doesn't move as much as the runout may be. Try taking off the wheel, and cleaning the hub and rotor hub surface with a wire brush to remove rust. I just did this and the noise went away.
2. Check CV joints. My driver's side, closest to the brakes has a 2mm hole in it. I'm taking it in, but I don't think this is the problem you describe.

After you've checked the pads to make sure they have sufficient material remaining on them and don't need to be replaced, you might try some aggressive bedding in. This often makes sqeaks go away. Plus it's fun to do! :-)
Do a series of "stops" from 60 - 10 mph without letting the brakes cool off in between. Do the first several at moderate brake pedal pressure and then, after a few minutes of this, get much more aggressive and take it up to threshold braking. After about 10 successive braking events, drive the car around for at least 10 minutes to let the brakes cool off. Do not stop and leave your foot on the brake pedal! If you must stop and are on a slope, you can use your hand brake to keep the car from moving. But keep that foot OFF the brakes when you are still.
Try this and see if the squeaks go away. If not, we can try a few other things.

If the fronts are let's say 700 deg, you can bet the rear stocks are around 400 deg. Much like track activities, don't yank the emergency brake when your brakes are hot. Instant brake warpage.
Just avoid roads with hills, unless you are in SF.

I do have some splatter on my wheel liner that looks like it could be grease. So, it could be a leaking CV boot. I'll have to check it out, although I've never looked at a CV boot before.
If I have a faulty CV boot, do you think the dealer will not cover it under warranty because of my coilovers?
