Default especially taking into account to load capacity of the Allroad/A6

I can say that the rear "upgrade" plus the standard A8 front upgrade for the B5 A4 works very well together...the braking is much improved.

Default Yeah... hence the need for S4/S8 setup in the rear.

I have it on my car with Carbotech Bobcats in the back and PBR Ceramics in the front and I'm quite pleased.

While I imagine it wouldn't be as effective on the heavier allroad, it would definitely be a step up from where it is now.

Default allroad brakes are the crud!! thw wife hated them, you never felt like you were going to stop in tim

Crud crud crud

Even using the S4 calipers on the front of a car that weighs 1500 more lbs is silly!

Default grabbier pads will help alot.

as well as slotted rotors...i believe that "normal" driving tends to glaze over the pads over time, making braking worse. I doubt your wife aggressively works the pads so slotted rotors might help in keeping the pads face fresh.

Agreed, but if I can find a good deal on S4 rear calipers, I'd like to do them too.
