It blew halfway through my last lap. I barely managed to limp the car across the finish line before it stalled, and ended up in 4th place.
I ordered a bi-pipe the next day

yeah, I hear ya. The TBB is really annoying me, but now the stupid N75 seems to catch up to second place. It appears the 710N deals with pressure better than the 710A. But in the long run - next month or so - I will get the BiPipe. What was so inexplicable to me was that I just replaced the TBB, the 710A/B with 710Ns, and checked the N75. So I could not imagine that the TBB blew immediately again, and the N75 was intermittently working, and I did not have the N249 on the radar at all as a potential culprit. So basically in first gear and below 3k rpms the car always ran like hell - despite the blown TBB (how?!?) - and intermittently it would do the same above 3k rpms in all gears. I just could not figure it out.

yes. That is a real pain in the neck NOT to brake it, and indeed it gets brittle. I assume it does not like the average temperature around there... A few things Audi did I just do not understand, but then, I am no car mechanic, I am a physicist who just loves to putz around in cars, take things apart and put 'em back together. But I do not understand some of the fluid dynamics Audi assumed to go on in the car. I just don't. And then to put in cheap crap rubber pieces to save a grand total of $50.
