n75 adjustment - should I tweak - or just leave it alone?

I'm a lowly stage II+ with no plans for a mbc... my K03s are serenating me with there soft siren sound (louder by the month) - I will replace them when time and budget align. I've stfa and read a bunch of threads on benefits (or lack thereof) of playing with the n75 value adjustment for a variety of reasons. I'm looking only to play around with some mild surging issues and boost levels.
Is it worth fartin' around with - or not? Any advice good/bad or indifferent appreciated.

THe adjustment screw has loctite on the threads. The threaded cylinder that the screw threads into is pressed into the upper bracket. If the loctite doesn't break loose, the cylinder will spin in the bracket and may be moved downward, due to the force of your screwdriver. Then the copper cylinder will move downward and you'll have no way of raising it. Basically, you're screwed
My *2nd* new N75 valve was something like $110+ at the dealer. You might get lucky and the loctite breaks loose before the cylinder spins, but I doubt it.
