Default NAV+ questions

I am thinking about developing a car pc that would use a touch screen similar to the one that was posted in the A4 forum about a month ago. Before I cut my dash apart, I have a couple questions about the NAV+:

-Does the nav+ have a touch screen that can be connected to a computer (MP3, Internet, diagnostic progs...)?

-How large is the screen?

-Can you navigate outside of a CD's Area(if I want to map a point to NV from PA can I map right there, or do I have to map to way points on both maps?)

-Do I really need a CD changer with the NAV+ so i can listen to CD's or is this only when you are using the NAV+ (I would like to use the CD changer line for the computer).

-Will my phone integration still work?

-Where can I get a NAV+? (location=Phila. PA)

Thanks for all your help.

As you have noticed from the other responses, the nav+ does not have a touchscreen. You can use an overlay if you are willing to take the screen apart. It is really not as difficult as it may sound.

I have my V60 hooked up to mine. It works fine except when I am playing a CD. It doesn't seem to know that the call is over and to switch back to playing the CD. I have to hit end on my phone twice or switch the nav to radio and then back to CD. I am not sure if this is caused by the cd changer and harness or the nav unit itself.

The nav+ has some benefits and some shortcomings. You will probably get more features and expandability out of an aftermarket one but it will not look as factory as the nav+.
