Have a Cables-to-Go serial-to-USB adabter and it works with just about every module but the ECU(can't handle the transmission speeds "ITE9"s).
Would like to know what others are doing as Lemmiwinks and VTune will not use the Vag_USB interfaces. New laptop w/o native serial and I don't think it necessary to spend ~$130 for a PCMCIA adapter. TIA.

I'd prefer to do this but need to keep serial connectivity to the ECU to tune/tweak.
Does the emulator use the VAG_Com USB cable for connectivity? Also assuming it is a software stub but a quick search on Google comes back with only micro-device controller interfaces with dedicated hardware. Any help appreciated.
