NE1 using an USB to Serial adapter for Twin/ISO_Com cable and Vag_Com?
Have an A31 TPad with serial and newer T41 w/o serial. Trying to get the T41 for log duty w/o buying a Hex_Com USB cable(other serial stuff required for the car).
I bought a CablesToGo USB to Serial cable and it works for some of the slower car modules(Radio, Navigation, Locks etc) but does not work yet for ECU, Instruments, etc... too many transmission errors. Looking for advise on what to set the adapter "com" driver settings on.

Ross Tech says they don't usually work. They recommend a PCMCIA card.

I could shoot IBM for dropping this. Probably saved $5 on the cost/packaging.
I like it for the most part just dont like dragging my A31 with 50min of battery around for logging... its like 2.5X larger.
