Default Need advice. Any good shops in the bay area?

I asked this the other day but didn't get many responses. so here it is again.

I live in the bay area ( California)and I have to decide on spending $2,724 on an extended warranty (1yr/12,000mi) , to cover $2,270 to fix an oil leak caused by the cam shaft chain tension seals, $931 dimming lcd instrument panel cluster, and $900 water pump & timing belt.

These prices were given to me by an audi service manager who said he will not take note of these problems officially, untill after the warranty is purchased so that they will be covered.

The car has a little over 80,000mi and is an 02.
So are there any reliable shops int he bay area that may have better prices? OR should i do the warranty?

Like i said i am in the Bay Area ( california), East bay to be more percise. BUT i am willing to go anywhere here in the entire bay area.
