Default I just did a repair with the CD. Before I imported my name file...
I clicked the associate properties and it actually opened, but with nothing in it. Once I imported the file, I got the same error and shut down.

Yep that correct, any reinstall requires a new reg file, just went through this.

Your install is fine, the reg file needs to come from APR again to match the new installation key.

Default Well, I just uninstalled ECUx and deleted the name file. After reinstalling and opening....
the screen did not come up to re-register. WTF? :/
