Default Need help car is making a weird noise.. Please Read..

Certian times when I let off the gas without pushing the clutch in I hear a slipping shriek!! I can make it happen frequently if I accelerate in first gear and bring it to about 3K and let off the gas (abruptly).. I hope its not what I think it is, since my car has been in the shop twice already for trans problems.. Also I have the UUC Short Shifter at 40% and If I take it to the dealer, I would probably have to take it off (if its a transmission problem, the UUC SS would probably void my warranty, even though its probably not related to the actual problem).. To top it off last week I ordered the APR stage 2 and would hate to make a trip to the dealer for this problem after the kit arrives and is on the car.. If anyone has any idea what this is and how serious this is please let me know.. TIA

Default my car used to make a shrieking noise when releasing foot of clutch

it was very high pitched and hurt to hear it. There was no pattern to when it happened, and only happened occassionally. Maybe its the same noise you're hearing, but mine stopped.

Weird stuff

Yes... If I accelerate quickly and let off the gas fast without using the clutch it sometimes makes the sound.. I forgot to mention that this sometimes makes the sound when I give it any gas in reverse.. Any ideas?
