Got it from Wolf Camera in Denver.....
It's been a few months but I think I paid $449? Sound right? I also got the upgraded video card, lets you store approx 120 pics, I would get that one at least. Only other thing I have for it is a waterproof cover, Im out on lakes all the time so its a necessity. Easiest camera in the world to use, love the quality and didnt have to sell a nut to buy the thing.

I have also been looking and came up with the following:
I want better than a 3x optical zoom, and at least 2.1 MP to print out nice 5x7's. I came up with the following models that fit good.
1. Olympus C700zoom - 10x optical zoom; 2.1MP; Olympus makes good lenses and good equipment.
2. Fujifilm finepix 2800zoom - 6x optical zoom; 2MP;Well under $500
3. Casio QV-2900ux - 8x optical zoom; 2.1 MP; Microdrive capable (uses compact flash also)
All these camera's are around or under $500. Hope this helps a little.
