Default Need help getting Coolant Temp Sensor out!

I am not sure what the best course of action is, in trying to get the old sensor out. I don't wanna pull too hard and damage the wire harness.
Anyone have suggestions. I've STFA and none of the threads really have pictures (which would help greatly).

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Default I dont have pics but its easy to take out. Remove the accordian hose for easy access...

Then once you locate the sensor, remove the wire connecting the sensor. Then pull out the c-clip and pull on the sensor (make sure you catch the 0-ring with it). Now do the reverse to put the new one in and you're done. Don't forget to put the o-ring back on the new one.

Default Taking out the accordian is easier said than done. I was moving the entire engine

trying to get that thing off...the hose or whatever that connects to the bottom of the accordian was a b!tch to get off.

I thought I was going to break something.

Default I found it easier to remove the clip & sensor first and then to unplug the wire. I also didn't

need to removce the accordian hose.

YMMV, though, depending on how small your hands are.

How do you "un-clip" the wire harness?

Default Also if it does not come out with you pulling on it...

Try using a flathead screw driver to pop it out. Mine was stuck in there and I had to do this to get it out.
