Default Gaskets are like gold. Also bear in mind I have NO idea what all the random lines running around

the engine bay are.

I just found that once it was out, I could easily see the sensor rather than doing things blindly

Default The audi clips are tough. You have to push the entire clip in and at the same time pull on the top

latch (on top of clip) the opposite way you are pushing. Pushing the entire clip in allows you to unlock the latch on top of the clip. Bloody confusing. Find out if someone is in your area to show you how.

Default You are definitely correct. I don't think I could have done it, period, without taking out the

accordian hose.

Default with some help from RSForm and a few others, i think i have it figured out:

Spider / PCV system:

The spider is a 5-hose distribution block located directly behind the engine. the hoses from it go to the drivers and passenger side valve covers, the engine block, the intake manifold, and the PCV valve. Also, the N75 valve atmosphere line T's into the passenger side valve cover line.

My plan for deleting this involves using a 4 into 1 nitrous distribution block and running input lines into it from the valve covers, the block and the N75. Ill run a line out from the distribution block, through a check valve, to a breather tank which will collect the oil and vent the fumes to atmosphere. The intake mani opening will be capped off and the opening in the Y-pipe for the PCV valve will be reused for my brake booster delete.

Brake Booster System:

the brake booster system consists of a line from the intake mani and a line from the intake accordian T'ing together into a single line going through the firewall into what i assume is the master cylinder.

my plan for deleting / reworking this is to run a line from the intake mani to a Y fitting, run a line from the Y-pipe where the PCV valve used to be to the Y fitting, and running a line from the Y fitting to the master cylinder(?). I need to research further to see if check valves are required and where they should be placed if they are. The intake accordian will be replaced by a pre-01.5 one without the hole.

Both of these modifications will be done with AN fittings and lines - both for durability and for easy disconnection.

Default The hard part for me was removing and putting back on the clamps that hold the accodian down.

Without a wide wrench, that thing is almost impossible to put back on unless you have a freakisly strong grip
