need help, wheels + BBK fitment...

I am looking to sell my RPF1s to another AW member, and we are trying to figure out if the RPF1 will clear his stoptech 332 BBK in the front.
His CURRENT fitment is an 18x7.5 volk le37 with a +30 - he says his wheel is with in a mm or 2 of hitting his caliper face.
my RPF1s are 18x8 + 35
he has some RPF1s that are 5x112 18x9 + 35 but are no where NEAR fitting, he says the spokes hit the caliper long before the wheel even mounts on the hub...
So my question is if we assume an 18x8 + 35 will we have the same spoke issue, is a +35 wheel a +35 wheel regardless of depth?
When I had the RPF1 on the car with the STOCK front caliper it had TONS of clearance
Does anyone have any insight? He has a track event in 2 weeks and is trying to get ready for it so any information we can get would be helpful...
What are his options for wheels if the RPF1 would not fit? 19s are not an option as there are no R compound tires for 19...

on a +35 wheel that is 18x9
wheel centerline is 4.5"
1 inch = 25.4mm
35mm = 1.379 inches
so an 18x9 wheel with a +35 offset will have it's mounting face @ 3.121 inches or basically 1.379 inches off of center which means the backspacing is 5.879"
on an 18x8
wheel centerline is 4"
so wheel mounting face will be @ 2.621 or basically 5.379" of backspacing?
I wondering if the mounting face being at 2.621 versus 3.121 changes the spoke design enough to clear his BBK...
his current wheel is an 18x7.5 + 30 that just BARELY clears his calipers
7.5, centerline is 3.75, 30mm = 1.182 or mounting face @ 2.568
I realize spoke design is a concern too but the RPF1s have a pretty good rep for being track wheels which would mean have good clearance when used with BBKs....

This is much easier and more reliable than any other method of determining if X BBK fits in Y wheel.

http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wheel_fitment.shtml</a

My math says there is no way it DOESN'T fit, but this gentleman already has custom ordered an 18x9 +35 that most definitely does NOT fit...
the only thing I can think of is that maybe it's not really the 332 kit but is bigger?
