I have been running a chip for about 20 months with absolutely no problems. Two weeks ago my original TBB finally gave out. I took the car into Audi and got it fixed after switching back to stock ECU. Got home, put the chipped ECU back int the car. Two days later, my engine light came on, checked the codes, over boost and to lean. Switched ECU's again, lost all codes naturally. Drove her around for a day no codes. On the way to the dealer the check engine light comes on again. Dealer replaces one blow off valve. Come home put chipped ECU in car and proceed to drive for a couple days. No codes nothing. Drove 2 hours south to see family, no check engine light or nothing. Get in car next day, check engine light comes on. 18048 and 17538 are the codes. Switch ECU's seeing how I am in the midle of VA where there is nothing. No codes nothing for the next day or on the way back home, 2 more hours north.
My question is, what could be going wrong that would cause the check engine light to come on now after 20 months nothing was wrong. I know it's not the chip because there were never any problems before. Everything started after I took the car to get the TBB replaced. Could things just being going bad as a result of the TBB being busted and the blow off valve going bad. I am thinking it's the MAF sensor, but wouldn't it go off regardless of chip or stock if it were bad? Finally, if I can only get the codes to appear with the chipped ECU and not with the stock one, how am I ever going tog et the parts replaced sot hat I can run the chipped ECU again?
Help please.
TIA

Installed Forge BVP's last month and the car has been throwing DTC 16487 - MAF Sensor (G70) Signal too high (intermittent) and DTC 17964- Charge Pressure Control: Negative deviation (and positive too). Can't track down a leak - so I am stumped - can't believe its the MAF.

It was on the "edge" and very intermittent, but no drivability problems.
No guarantee that's the problem in either of these cases, it just sounds awful familiar.

Then it would return, so the OTS didn't question there was a problem.
