If you dont mind me asking why do you need a new one?

In the Seattle area Absolute German would be my choice. They usually have everything.

Center bearing is shot and there is a lot of slop in the system from 123k of beating on it. The joints are a little tired, decent amount of play in it.

◦One more thing. Do I need triple-square bits to remove the driveshaft? Can't remember. Thanks

Talk to Raxles they are good to deal with.

034 Motorsport also sells a replacement center bearing.

No triple squares, they are 6mm hex bolts.
Be sure to align your center support bearing correctly too.. Blau has a rebuild kit, or just individual parts if you want. I think its about the same price as Raxles tho. Last I called they didn't have any though, support bearings were on back order, and changing suppliers... price increase...

A side note about Raxles- EVERYONE recommends them and has only had good experience, so I bought a new axle for the wifes passat.. The outer joint was junk out of the box. weird. Had to put the old one back in and send the new one back as the core, def sucked. Customer service seems to be top notch tho. I seem to be the only one I've found who had a bad experience.

Why not just get 034's upgraded center bearing/driveshaft carrier mount?

Im asking because I also have 123k on my car and am in your same situation and would rather not replace the entire driveshaft unless absolutely needed.

Think that would take care of the problem?
