I believe he already ordered it. I'm in the same situation. Can get a used one for 240. or a rebuilt for 440. On mine, I have the center support going, and also one of the CV joints. So, I have to replace it all or get a full rebuild kit. Alot of people have had good luck with new center bearings or rebuild kits. But to me, since I don't have the tools or space to work on my own car at the moment. (Just moved) I only want to have to do the job once, so I think I'm going to go with a fully rebuilt one. No point in f'ing around trying to save some money when it will just bite me in the ***. In addition the rebuilt onces are re balance and replaces every part that can go wrong on them. For around 1/3 the price of the audi part.

I have a bad CV on mine, possibly both ends, and the center bearing is gone. Any S4 with 120k+ has a tired driveshaft, you can almost bet. Why jack around with replacing the Center bearing when you can save time and replace the whole thing and get most of the slop out of the drivetrain?
Replacing the driveshaft is quick and easy. Replacing the center bearing can be a pain in the ****, for certain.

2nd. More interesting the full rebuild kits are 400 w/o shipping and a fully rebuilt one is 440 with shipping. Including shipping the core back.
Center bearing = 100.
Full rebuild = 400. (center bearing, and CVs)

I have 115k and replaced the center support bearing with the one from 034.
I posted a DIY on it, which included removal and re-install of the driveshaft, along with the sticking points.
