I remember when I had my S4 I went through 3 headunits in the 6.5 years of ownership. Default which headunit model number is ours (ie 2001 B5 S4) that came with a CD changer?
8D0-035-195-A

or

They're the same. AX is the designation for a reman'd unit.

Thought it was 4B0-035-111, but that list claims it's only through '99

Default at $40 might as well order a spare if i ever get rid of the RNS-E.
i presume we can call any VW dealer and order?
