Falken Azenis Sports would probably be good autocross tires.

I ran them as track tires last year, and they were great for the first 5-6 laps and then went away. However, they got up to temp very quickly and aren't very expensive.

3rd, at 119/tire for a 225x45/17, you can't beat it...

Would they be better DEDICATED AX tire than Victoracers?

I am mainly it it for the fun and light competition. I am second in class and anytime helps, but dont want to spend a fortune I dont have. Also, would like to get a few seasons out of them. Tireracks reviews seem mixed as it is a decent tire but not up to par with other R compounds.
