Look closer at what? I can't see a compass in the picture of either of them.
Text specifically says NO in the Compass field.
Not trying to be a smartass - in fact, I wouldn't have been so generous with the links if I were also interested in the auction ;-)
BTW, I saw in one of your previous threads (elsewhere) that the tech section here on AW has an installation guide for installing a new mirror. I searched but couldn't come up with it. Any help is much appreciated!

look for the tech article called "Mirror Compass Upgrade" in the Interior tech section for install.
Now, look at the one titled "Audi A4/S4/A6/S6 Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror OE LKQ" Here is the picture from the auction. I added the details. I just followed the link you posted above.

Here is the one I put in my car, B6 A6 mirror with compass. I got mine from the same place and the picture in my auction was the same as what was delivered. Now, since it says no compass in the auction, buyer beware. But I am guessing that is a typo.

Arggh, install article in the GA section, never made it down that far. Thanks! And buyer beware
indeed! I saw the compass area but thought it was a shadow or reflection.
