Need some car shipping info from you guys......
So it looks like I'm headed out to South Beach Miami for the rest of the summer. I'm probably leaving in the next few days. I'd like to know if any of you have shipped a car that far and which carrier did you use? I think I'd want my car in an enclosed carrier. Also, any idea how much this would cost and how long it would take to get from SoCal to Miami. Sidenote, I think Miami gets 93 octane....WOOHOO!!!!!

It probably be $1000 or so. 99% of carriers will take a few weeks to ship it.
I've always used a company called Augies trucking, no clue on number. 2 cars from Florida to Cleveland, they got them up here in like 2 or 3 days. Then from Cincinatti to Cleveland on a private truck (private as in only car on it, and they took it up directly) Horseless Carriage I've heard good things about them. I don't think Augies goes to Cali. So I'd give horseless a call.

If you want it there fast I have a guy that could do it REAL fast. He is $1.21/loaded mile which is
expensive, but if you go with a big enclosed carrier like Intercity lines (less than $1/mile) it might take more than a month for your car to get there.

Researched this about a year ago...
Company called Showtime in AL quoted me the best price ($1200), fully insured, enclosed carrier, and each car is individually wrapped when it's in the carrier. If the cars are not individually wrapped with your carrier, get a quote for the upper deck. You don't want grime/fluids/whatever from someone else's car falling on your car. The price quote I got was from Denver to Philly. Figure an additional $300-500 for your trip.
You'll have to do a google search to track these guys down. I did get the recommendation from someone on AW that used them. As it turned out, I never got the car in Denver, so I never needed them.
