Default need some help!!!

<center><img src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s57/2kblacks4/bolt.jpg"></center><p>the idle wheel pulley bolt snapped off when i was trying torque it to speck. ****ing auto zones torque wrench was broken and i never heard it click. the pin is out was wondering what to do? should i take it off or try and compress it back down if i even can? i am freaking out i dont know what to do.

Default There's a tool that I forget what auto stores call (in the military we call them easy outs) it's a

reverse threaded bit that looks like a dull drill bit. You drill a hole in the middle of the bolt using a center punch to start it. then you hammer the easy out into the hole you drilled and twist out, like you're removing a screw. They work like a champ.

were u trying to seat the pulley by tightening the bolt????

Default it's gotta come out regardless... You should be able to re-compress the tensioner...

Once the pressure is off the bolt should be pretty easy to get out (vice grips) unless its totally snapped off in the block...
