I just use a "hot compress" and let it sit on there for 30" or so...then it loosens up...

Default I'm assuming you washed it out, and there is an etching left behind?

If you haven't washed it out, do that first. Spray it with some quick detailer, let it sit 15 minutes, then attempt to wash it (it should be loosened up by then).

To remove the etching, try One Grand Special Touch, or 3M Imperial Hand Glaze mixed with a dab of P21S Multi Surface Finish Restorer. Wax when you're finished.

A clay bar is unnecessary here. The gun...unless you make it your mission in life to eradicate every bird from this planet, it's probably pointless.

Don't rub it off! Slowly soak it w/ warm soapy water until it softens, then wipe it away.

Default If the scratches are anything more than swirl marks, IHG will have a tough time

removing them. If we are talking about a baked in outline then IHG should be fine.

Default Use a quick detailer...

To soak the first. Hot compresses might actually remove the wax underneath if your wax is carnuaba based. AFter soakign with quick detailer spray off with water low pressure, then wipe off.

I have had great success with this... wipe off with either 100% made in usa cotton or the new microfiber.
