Currently my car was in the shop because of check engine lite.. Audi dealer said it was the upgraded TAP1 chip throwing out error codes causing the car to run too rich. My service advisor asked me if i wanted to keep the chip and continue to let it run rich and throw out error codes, or they can return it to stock fashion. Since the chip came with the car when i bought it last june its not likely i can have it serviced through TAP (total audi performance). Friend of mine has a Neuspeed chip on his S4.. anyone have this chip
Audi S4 2000-up, 1.0 Bar boost. Neuspeed Engine Control Chip 64.02.28 $349.95
Any advise would be much appreciated.

I have a neuspeed chip and I am running fine. I haven't had any problems yet. What kind of advise do you want? I think neuspeed is the chip thats runs the least boost so I heard it was safe. Then again they all have some risk. I say if the car feels good keep on driving it!
