Default new bmw m5 vs s4
who would win... stock m5 vs s4 with giac chip and full exhaust, ...my buddy just got the m5, he swears that he would blow my doors off... i drove the car the other day and the thing is a beast, but can't tell the true power as its still being broken in...don't think that he would blow my doors off and not even sure that he'll win.. any thoughts ?.. this would only be from 0-80 and not top speed and the m5 cannot use the launch mode...

Default V10 M5 should lay the hurt on a Stage II S4...
hell, V8 M5 will should still hold on just fine.

Default um, new 500HP M5 would kill a stage 2+ given a good launch.
even teh old M5 is a good run for a 2+.

Default i don't think a normal stage 3 could take one from a roll....
given what i've seen the M6 do. maybe teh M5 is a tad slower then the lighter M6 though.

Default a "good stg3 " aka home brew or AWE will give it a good run .
and i think/hope the s4 will get the jump (torque)

the race would be 0-80 mph...not 1/4 mile or top speed and the m5 cannot use the launch mode..

Default i raced one from a roll (e39M5) and he put a few carlengths on me
they definetly have more power, and your talking about the v10 one, which is MUCH faster... a well running stage 3 might have a prayer, but thats about it. You probably need to be stage 3 to give a well running e39m5 a run for its money from a roll
