New Cat-Back Decision Time ..... I'm getting the SandBlaster sound at wot ....
with the Borla (APR Stage 3 with piggie d/p's).
I've pretty much narrowed it down to:
1. AWE Twin 2
2. Techtonics Tuning Dual 2.5 inch exhaust with Borla mufflers.
3. Have a local performance exhaust shop convert my current Borla Cat Back to a true dual set up.
I really hate having to fvck with the current set up, it's leak free, aligned perfectly, no rubbing, no vibrations, etc, but the sandblaster noise at wot has to go!
I'd appreciate any and all constructive thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

ah...not all that constructive, I know.
Option 3 really isn't a conversion...it would be a whole new setup and I'd bet it is the most expensive option of the three.
I say go with the Techtonics/Borla...purely aesthtics.. I don't like seeing the rear muffler from the back of the car. The Borla cans must sit up higher because you can only see tips..no muffler hanging down.

Really? I dont get a sandblaster, I'm stg3 with borla.
I actually switched to borla because I got a sandblaster with my Neuspeed. Eventually I'd like to go ASP trudual just because I love the sound and the system, but not because I'm getting a sandblaster with my current setup.
My next step is probably rigging up some electronic dumps, though .. then I wont care what the catback is because I'll always have the option of opening the cut-outs.

i am still on milltek 3"...
but i am deciding between those two, or going custom... i love the sound of the milltek 3" its perfect... (sometimes a lil too low), however i cant stand the way it looks from a rear shot. the tips look awfully small, and ive never been able to get it to sit exactly the way i want.

I have the sandblaster. I thought about the dumps too, but aren't most stage 3 ...........
set ups tuned around a certain amount of back pressure? Dumps might actually have a negative effect.
