Not sure if anyone has had this one yet. I know that people say the radio does weird things but what about the following.

While driving (and this just started today) I noticed that the radio display on the trip computer (top 2 lines) would periodically go off and on by itself.

So I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen to them? And if they got it fixed and it never came back?

Tried searching and no answers were found just people saying they've had similar.

had mine relpaced 3 time and it still does it...the display on the radio goes out also.

Hi Boogie, I am still researching this issue. I have had my instrument cluster out a few times, checked everything, the LED line drivers that I suspected were weaklings are fine, the connector is ok too. And of course once it is back in, I have the spurious line out. I have no conclusion yet what it is, but it is annoying. Mine started after I put in a cell phone post amp and a radar detector (same day), but my initial conclusion that RFI/EMI caused this directly could neither be verified nor falsified. The situation got better when I shielded the cables that run across the cross member in the dash board, but I still have one line occasionally go out and come back on.
