Had H&R coil-overs, BBS RXII's, and S03's put on last Friday. Wheels are 18x8.5, tires are 245/40-18. I ordered 235's (225's were back-ordered) and didn't realize they'd put 245's on till I got home. I thought they looked HUGE when I went to pick the car up - now I know why. (Yes, I should have looked.)
The car's riding low (too low) and the tires are rubbing the fenders with the slightest bump.
So my question is - even after the car's raised a bit (or more), is there a chance in Hell that they won't still rub? I don't plan on tracking the car with these wheels, or loading it down with 5 people and luggage. But I do want to be able to put it through it paces on the twisties without grinding my fenders to shreds. I'm also thinking the 235's would have been a problem too.
Oh yea, they look GREAT on the car!!!
TIA

I'll be at the Bison Creen pizza get together on Saturday the 14th. If you can make it, you can see the car then (or another time).
Rolling the fenders is an option, but since they stick out beyond the fender edge I'm not sure how much that would help.
And yes, the DO look great. They have sort of a chunky look which I really like.
The coil-overs should work out fine too. Ride is a little firmer but not bad (barely noticable really). I think the car's so heavy you'll never get a really harsh/bouncy ride.

I was wondering about that. To be honest, when I picked the car up I was like WTF! Didn't expect such monsters. Looks good - but I do need to drive the damn thing...
