I have a Dell Axim X5 with PocketPC O/S. No Palm O/S here, just an ARM processor.

Default Re: So its kind of a ported Vag-Com to Palm, cool. Does it do "everything" Vag-Com does?

As far as real time graphing it does not do this but I was comparing it to VAG-Com not VAG-Scope which is technically a seperate software add-on. You can however use Vag-Scope to read log files from ProDiag! (I do this since I have a licensed version of both programs).

Also, this setup is MUCH faster than my VAG-Com is and it fits in my glovebox to boot! You can buy a PalmOS device that works with this on ebay for under $50!!! So total out of pocket around $300 and you have a diagnostic tool sitting in you glovebox! You can also use a suction cup mount to mount it temporarilly to you windshield or use a cell phone mount to put it on your dash!

Default You know what would be cool?

A serial dongle and a software package that would let us use our current vag-com ODB2 adapters with palm.

Default Have you used this? Trying to figure out if I can use my current VAG-COM cable (m) ...

in conjunction with a serial adaptor for my iPaq.
