Default Hardly! Let's itemize:

* No support for 7-digit SKCs.
* No multiple measuring blocks.
* Some very important measuring block data types display completely incorrect data.
* No real-time graphs
* Won't connect at all to a number of control modules which VAG-COM connects to with no problem.
* Fault database nowhere near as complete as VAG-COM's.

Yes, I'm talking about the latest version, 1.03.

Default I stand corrected

I should have said "ProDiag does everything that I have ever used Vag-Com for". It is great to not have to lug my large (and heavy) dell laptop around. And my ProDiag is *much* faster than my Vag-Com (but I don't have your faster HEX-COM which I have heard is much faster than the version I have).

Let me say that in no way am I dissapointed in VAG-COM! I love it and it has served me VERY well! Your customer service is awesome too! I'll always be a Ross-tech fan.

That said, will you be providing a PDA based version of your software anytime soon?

Default Uwe, here is a more complete response to your post

> * No support for 7-digit SKCs.

Correct, not yet implemented

> * No multiple measuring blocks.

Correct, we have not had a request for these. It can be implemented if there is a demand, or if we feel it is costing us sales by not having it.

> * Some very important measuring block data types display completely incorrect data.

There was an incorrect temperature reporting equation that was fixed early last week.

> * No real-time graphs

Correct. If we see the demand, it will be implemented.

> * Won't connect at all to a number of control modules which VAG-COM connects to with no problem.

We now know of only '02 and '03 A4 airbags. Perhaps this is his "number of control modules". We are working feverishly to correct this. It
will be correctly ASAP.

Also, you may notice that ProDiag will connect to many problematic ECUs that VAG-COM does not, like older A6/S6 instrument clusters.

> * Fault database nowhere near as complete as VAG-COM's.

We have all 1551/52 faults that are in the current VAG release. As more becomes available, they will be added. Up until Ross-Tech did there
last release, they did not have as many DTCs as ProDiag.

> Yes, I'm talking about the latest version, 1.03.

FWIW, All customers will getting version 1.04 with their orders. It has the above mentioned equation fix, as well as a couple of other small tweaks. As always, the latest ProDiag will be available on our website as new features are released.
