new... at the repair shop...
Hello I just bought a B5 S4 (6spd w/ 135k) 2 weeks ago and since I've gotten it, its been at the body shop (new front bumper) and now its at the repair shop (wheel bearing). The shop is also going to do a full check on the car to make sure there is nothing wrong with it.
The previous owner replaced 3 of the 4 wheel bearings, water pump, timing belt. The car seems to be running great but is there anything else I should be aware of?

Could be time for new control arms, tie rods, motor mounts -
I'd also ask the mechanic to look for any oil leaks around the valve covers, also with 135k on the clock I'd replace your DV's with 710N's.

just got a call from the shop...
I need a few things...
1)Front and Rear brakes (thinking about just going to the stoptech bbk for the front and dba rotors with hawk pads with stoptech lines for the rear)
2)Rear Passenger side wheel bearing ($300)
3)Tune Up (Spark plugs/fuel filter/cabin filter)
3)Tie Rod Assembly replaced.
