Default New rotors at 69k?

Got the need new brake pads light and called a few dealerships around Tacoma / Seattle area and got quoted $660-$1100 for new pads and rotors. Tried to convince them I only need pads, what's the deal?

Any good shops around Tacoma / Seattle?

Should I do the pads and the rotors or just the pads? The rotors aren't warped or anything.

Thanks!

There is only one way to know, and that is to measure them for minimum thickness and runout as well as visually checking them for grooves, which it sounds like neither you or the shops have done.
