Carrier biering/center support of drive shaft needs replacing. It seems to have failed under the new found power and I am getting some vibration and a lil' noise at certain RPM's. Should I just get an OEM replacement OR is there a beefier aftermarket one available?

I have a vibration that comes from the center of the car towards the front with almost like a whirring sound but it only happens above 4k rpms and when the car is warmed up and you run it a bit. I haven't been able to determine what the heck it is.

well, after accelerating hard and then taking foot off gas I can hear and feel it. And when going around turns at 3500rpm or so it is there again. How do I know what it is? Because the the guys at Summerville German Auto Repair are a bunch of crazy smart Germans who took care of my old S4 and are now looking after this one. One 10min test drive with me and they new exactly what the problem was. Car has CPO till the end of year, I have appt next week at dealer so I'm hoping this is covered.

You need to buy a wire from escort (cheap - only 10 bucks - link below) You pickyback this wire to any fuse on the car that turns on/off powerwise with the ignition.
Then run the wire up the A pillar, and just push it in along the roof liner over to where you want it. You can remove the A pillar if you want, but I don't THINK it was necessary.
