Newbie to the B5 S4 forum.
I did it. I pulled the trigger on the Black 01 6-speed. Drove 1.5 hours from SF to just north of Napa. The guy who owns it also has a nice german stable (01 Carrera, 00 E320 avant, 01 530i, 07 GTi) and a lovely home with a view of the Valley (Damn, thought I had it nice with an ocean view in SF!!?!).
The car really is in very good shape and well maintained. He's had a suspension and brakes done this year with all maintanence receipts totalling close to $6k from early 05. the clutch was done about 7k ago. What was almost the deal breaker was the fact that he never did the timing belt and it has 143k on the ODO!!!?! He dropped the price a grand to almost cover the timing belt replacement.
I've already scheduled the timing belt/water pump replacement for next Thursday with my mechanic.
I'm sure the turbos will be next.

Freds Garage in RWC for the last 5 years. I'll prolly see Andre on Taraval as well.
He's talking me into doing the 10v turbo conversion for my CGT.

VAG-Com, driving school, Neuspeed 19mm on stiff, MotorSports..but Penske's are close, AWE, VAST for sure, e-codes, No..that sound is normal, EVO Intake = skip unless you're Stge III, Chip + Exhaust, Chip + Exhaust + DP's, No..it means Down Pipes, STaSIS Alcons if you are a Baller, other wise Stoptech, Yes, The GT25 car, Check over on AZ, No..you shouldn't put eyelids on, H-Sports or Intrax ARB's, That would be Pat SoCal, Wicked Motorsports, Valentine One, Phenolic Spacers, Miltek is quiet, Borla is a perfect fit and sounds cool, Custom 3", From the RS4..it snaps right in, Edy Jun's FAQ, MarkP's website, Short the wires..it'll go out, FunkWeasel, Waseem..but he was nuts, Ronal, Less then ten wide bodies as far as we know, It's LI-S4..not LISA, Avalon, Just use 710N's and zip ties are fine, Two weeks, TfT's..it's for kids so just do it, STFA...

what are you doing to the Laser?
No mods scheduled yet. Gotta de-mod the A4 to pay for the timing belt then sell it to pay for the S4. You got something in yer sleeve lined up (like you always do)? 
My BBS's are going on the car right away until I can purchase new tires. I'm just glad business is picking up.
And no Steve, I'm not moving in with the GF. Found out that after she redecorated my room, she's now bored with her place and just wants to redecorate. She is pushing to move in with me. Don't know how well that'd go over with her parents though.

Thanks Morgan! Gonna do a shoot once all cars are cleaned and waxed.
Gonna have to do up the A4 to sell it anyhoo. I kinda feel bad for my stepkids tho (my miata and vespa and prolly a ninja soon enough), they never get in the pix. =/
